Volunteers
We are always in need of good volunteers. If you cannot adopt, please consider volunteering. Folks who wish to volunteer at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter should call 770-345-7270, and select option 2. We need Volunteers in many areas and temporary foster parents (for sick, injured, bottle feeding etc.) ...Ask to speak with the rescue/foster coordinator. They'll be delighted to receive your call.

Who We Are
We are volunteers for the Cherokee County Animal Shelter. Most all of the animals shown on this website are at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter. The shelter houses the unwanted and stray animals of Cherokee County. They also work with recognized animal rescue groups to rescue shelter animals that are not reclaimed by their guardians.
